Kood: Obby Parkour Maker is a game by Mixinfire (https://mixinfire.in/). You can play the campaign, the daily course and your own editor offline. Some features use the internet: ads, purchases, and, for players who are allowed to use them, publishing and playing shared courses. This policy explains what happens to data when you play.
No chat, no messages between players, no friend lists, no typing of names or text (course names and player names are picked by the game from word lists), no precise location, no contacts, no microphone or camera. This version of the game contains no Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or other analytics or crash-reporting service of ours, so it sends us no analytics of your play and no crash reports. The game does not sell personal data.
Publishing a course, opening a course by its 6-character code, liking, reporting, and racing other players' recorded runs ("ghosts") use Google Firebase. They are available only to players the age rules below allow, and only when the internet is on. Without them, the game keeps working offline.
When you first use an online feature, the game creates an anonymous Firebase account for this copy of the game. It has no email, no password and no link to your Google account. It gets a random user ID and a generated player name such as "ChaiNinja42" (you can ask for a new one in Settings; nobody can type their own). The game stores on Firebase servers:
Other players who open a published course see its name words, theme, likes, your generated name and the recorded runs. They never see your user ID, and there is no way for players to contact each other. Google receives your IP address when the game contacts its servers, as with any internet service. The game also downloads public course lists (Featured, New Picks, Top This Week) from Firebase Hosting; that request holds no user ID. Data is encrypted in transit.
A published course can be played by anyone with its code, so it cannot be deleted from inside the game. To have your courses, recorded runs, likes, reports and anonymous profile removed, email isonalichakraborty@gmail.com from any address and include the course codes or the player name shown in Settings; we remove what can be matched to them. Uninstalling the game does not remove data already stored online.
A published course is unlisted by default: only people who have its code can open it. The public lists (Featured, New Picks, Top This Week) hold only courses we have reviewed. A course that three different players report is hidden at once and then checked by us; we remove courses that break the course rules shown in the game. You can report any course and block its creator from the course screen. Blocking hides that creator's courses on your phone only.
The game shows ads from Google AdMob in two ways:
There are no banner ads and no ads when the game starts or closes. The ad SDK starts only after you have answered the age question.
How ads depend on your age group:
When ads are requested, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares data with Google as described in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites): device and advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID), your IP address and approximate location, information about ad interactions, and diagnostics. Google uses it to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. Every ad request asks for ads suitable for a general audience (maximum ad content rating: PG). If the internet is off, no ads are requested and the game still works.
Coin packs, the starter pack, No Break Ads, the season pass, Creator Pro and the outfit sets are sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Coins cannot be traded, sold, gifted or turned into money.
The game uses Unity's in-app purchasing library (Unity IAP) to talk to Google Play. When you start or complete a purchase, or when purchases are restored, Unity IAP sends Unity Technologies a purchase event containing:
Unity may also use your IP address to work out your approximate country; the IP address is not kept for that purpose. Unity uses this data to provide and improve its purchasing service, as described in Unity's privacy policy (https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy). It is not used for advertising.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Rules apply their duties for players under 18 from 13 May 2027. On that date the game, by the date on the phone and without an update, stops requesting ads for players under 18 and turns off the online features (publishing, codes, likes and ghosts) for them, unless we have added a way to confirm a parent's consent first. The campaign, the daily course, the editor and your own courses on your phone keep working offline.
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. If a player says they are under 13, the game requests no ads, starts no online features and sends nothing to Google for advertising or to Firebase; the offline game stays playable.
